My Story
When sleep is taken away, suddenly, we realize how much it matters.
I’ve always been an outdoors woman.
After developing Alpha-Gal Syndrome in 2021, a tick-borne illness that causes allergic reaction to mammal by-products, I began to see shifts in my health, including sleep. This escalated in 2023, and I saw doctor, after doctor, all who tried to fit me to the mold of their knowledge, their practice, and their patient norms.
All providers knew of my allergy, and who – unbeknownst to me – continued to prescribe medications containing lactose, which I was allergic to.
My body entered a heightened sympathetic state where complications stockpiled. Answers began to unveil themselves as I discovered the assistance of, you guest it, specialized coaches.
As I grew healthy again, I didn’t just want to sleep – I wanted the best sleep out there. And I wanted to provide my community with the type of support that I wasn’t able to find; someone to look at me as a whole person. A complex person with history, with ambitions, with responsibilities. And, someone who saw sleep as an equally complex combination of our lifestyle and beliefs, rather than a problem to be bandaided or psychologically targeted.
My holistic coaching certification through the International Parenting and Health Institute led me to a wealth of knowledge about sleep science, the coach’s approach, and how learning to harness these together can deliver what’s been lacking in not just our sleep, but our energy.
Today, there still isn’t a code for my allergy in my local healthcare system. Today, I’m forced to pay out of pocket for care that insurance should pay for.
Amidst the brokenness of the healthcare culture, of the ubiquity of processed foods, of daylight savings time, of time lost to scrolling – we have the opportunity to choose sleep. Let me help show you how.

Today
Today I live in Bloomington, Indiana, serving clients here locally as well as online.
My days are filled with family time, my husband Chris, my dog Rocket, the YMCA, and the Dimension Mill community. When I really have it my way, I’m cooking a meal or two with all local ingredients – an art form I’ve come to love.
Perhaps the most important thing my days are filled with, though, is gratitude. I’m thankful for the obstacles that brought me to a place and profession where I can challenge our culture’s status quo of sleep and help people just like you to discover better sleep for better days.
The future is full of potential.
