One of the most common questions I get is “Can you help me”?

My answer: Our bodies are built for sleep. When quality sleep eludes us, there is a reason, and together, you and I step back to examine not just the reasoning that’s there, but all that has been missed. I will always help you get closer to your goal. You will be the one who allows yourself to reach & sustain it.

What is Holistic Sleep Coaching?

Sleep coaching is a collaborative process designed to help you improve your sleep and overall wellbeing through personalized guidance and support. Offered in 1:1 sessions and coupled with an in-depth holistic assessment, sleep coaching brings together your motivation and my expertise to uncover the lifestyle factors contributing to your unique sleep challenge. Together, we identify and implement realistic changes aimed at restoring quality sleep patterns – recognizing that modifying long-held habits can be some of the toughest work we do.

About the picture: I love to invite clients to bring a hot beverage to our sessions – whether remote or in-person. I appreciate the warmth of a drink and the camaraderie of sharing the experience.

Does DiscoverZzz specialize in certain sleep disorders?

My holistic training & certification allow me to work with a broad range of sleep challenges, all of which are listed on the Landing Page of this website. I like to say that I specialize in asking the right questions to identify and address the root cause of your challenge.

I work with any adult experiencing sleep-related difficulty that’s impacting their quality of life. Clients who work with me feel ready to commit to change. They often come to me not fully understanding the “why” behind their sleep challenge, or they’re looking to uncover a deeper layer that they suspect is there.

Note: I live with the tick-borne disease Alpha-gal Syndrome and welcome those living with Alpha-gal or experiencing food sensitivity/allergy to explore my coaching practice.

What does a Coach do, exactly?

As your Coach, I do an in-depth analysis of how you spend your time both in and out of bed, listen actively to your story, confirm your primary concerns, and offer new solutions, tools, and encouragement for gradual change. Together, we set long-term goals and short-term action steps to help close the gap between where you are now and where you want to be.

Unless additionally licensed, a Sleep Coach cannot formally diagnose or treat a client. A Coach can provide full body and mind sleep education, exploration of core belief system and its influence on lifestyle, and set the stage for you to begin shifting habits. When choosing my Classic Coaching Package, I help you stay accountable when things get tough, so you can say “no” to what’s getting in the way and “yes” to what matters most.

Who Is Hannah?

 

I grew up and live today in Bloomington, IN, with my 14-year old doggo and loving husband. My spirit animal, you ask? A loon; drawn to the water, adaptable, and a dynamic communicator.

Perhaps more than sleep itself – I’m passionate about finding vitality and living each day to our true, joyful potential. I believe, as does the science tell us, that sleep is foundation of this work.
